This year, AHGSS is honouring Steve Williams with a memorial trophy recognizing his incredible legacy of service, compassion, and community spirit.

 

Steve dedicated his life to helping others, both through his work with BC Ambulance as a paramedic and dispatcher, and through his tireless volunteer efforts.

A passionate car enthusiast, Steve turned his love of automobiles into a force for good. He played a key role in organizing and supporting charity car shows, including helping launch the Horsepower for Hospice event, which continues to make a meaningful difference in the community.

Known for always showing up for his community, Steve built lasting connections and touched countless lives. The 2026 AHGSS Horsepower for Hospice “Best in Show” memorial trophy is a tribute to his enduring impact, ensuring his spirit of generosity and kindness continues to inspire for years to come.
