Abbotsford Hospice & Grief Support Society invites you to join us on Giving Tuesday, the global movement dedicated to
giving back and making a difference in the lives of families right here in our community of Abbotsford, BC.
This Giving Tuesday, your donation will be matched by our incredible legacy donors.
Your $40 gift will fund
2 Overnight Care Kits
for families at Holmberg House hospice.
This holiday season, make a meaningful gift towards one of the following needs as a part of our
Hospice Expansion Project, with construction starting January 2027. At our hospice, we provide compassionate end-of-life care in a warm, home-like setting where patients and families can spend their final days surrounded by comfort, dignity, and loved ones.
With six new hospice rooms being added at Holmberg House, we will be able to care for approximately 120 additional patients and their families each year, helping ensure no one spends their final days waiting in a hospital hallway.

Each hospice patient, along with their family, is welcomed with a basket of carefully selected personal care items that provide comfort and warmth during their loved one's stay.

Communication and connection with loved ones is so important. Give the gift of connection by helping provide bedside technology and communication tools that keep families close, no matter the distance.

Time with loved ones is precious. Give the gift of comfort by helping provide nourishing food and refreshments in the family kitchen, allowing families to stay close and cared for during their hospice stay.

Help create a welcoming and comforting hospice environment by funding suite furnishings for patients and their loved ones. These essential items such as a medical grade bed and mattress, pull-out sofa, and other essential bedside equipment will serve patients and families in our community for many years.
Hospice care is about more than medical needs. It is about ensuring that every person and family experiences comfort, dignity, peace, and compassionate care at the end of life. It is about providing families with a private space to gather, grieve, celebrate cherished memories, and be together during precious final moments.
